FUNDING & DONATIONS
DRUM is a very small charity, run by a management committee made up of disabled members and carers, supported by a small team of dedicated volunteers and part time staff....we don't have a marketing, fundraising or publicity department!
Our staff salaries are currently funded by Hertfordshire Adult Care Services, but all our staff work additional hours on a voluntary basis.
All other costs are funded through our membership fees, small grant applications, fundrasing and donations.

  DONATE TO DRUM
Localgiving.com allows you to find and give to local charities and community groups, even those too small to be registered. Each of these groups have all been vetted by their local Community Foundation before appearing on Localgiving.com. Your donation will give new hope and support to groups who often find it difficult to obtain funding.

Co-operative Community Fund Award - £1,300 March 2011
Julia Fuller, membership officer for the Co-Operative, said: “Because our members own the business, they get a share in any of the profits we make. It's a scheme we're very proud of, not only because it gives us the chance to thank members for shopping with us, but because so many people choose to give something back to local community groups such as DRUM.”

  TOTAL UK Community Champions 2008
The competition, which looked for groups that go that extra mile to serve others within their community, received many entries but DRUM came out on top as the overall winner of the award among the judges, which included Watford MP Claire Ward, Watfor FC goalkeeper and community ambassador Richard Lee and Kate Munro from Total UK.
TOTAL corporate communications manager Kate Munro said: “We wanted to reward local community groups for all the good work they do and the TOTAL Community Champions 2008 Awards seemed like the perfect way to do this. We received many worthy entries but DRUM is definitely the deserving winner.”
TOTAL UK continue to fund fuel for the DRUM Minibus.
